Below are a couple of ideas to consider prior to filling out an application for membership. Along with those ideas is a section from our constitution that outlines the minimum requirements you must meet prior to being considered for membership with the ICBA.

First off, the ICBA's first and most important mandate is:

"REACHING THE SEEMINGLY UNREACHABLE"

That is our mission statement! We desire to reach out to the world, primarily the biker community, with the love and salvation message of Jesus Christ. Is this what God has placed in your heart? If you have poked around the website, you have found that we are involved in many different types of outreaches and events. We are looking for people, workers if you want, to go out into the world and preach the message of Jesus Christ. Has God placed this in your heart as well? Please don't misunderstand, we have great times together, but when you are serving the Lord that fact is inevitable! How does one know if this is what God is calling them into? Read on to find out the most important step when making a decision to join not only the ICBA, but any ministry...

Prayer...
Plain and simple...PRAYER! The only true way to find out what God's will in our life is through prayer and submission. The only way to get a prayer answered...is by asking  in the first place! (Matthew 7:7 - 9 NIV; Luke 11:8 - 10 NIV)

Minimum Requirements...

International Christian Bikers Association
ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility:
Persons desiring to become members of this Association shall give credible profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. Applicants shall give evidence of compliance with the biblical standard of Christian practice and manifest spiritual growth by giving evidence of the fruit of the spirit: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Galatians 5:22 - 23 NIV)

and

shall refrain from "acts of the sinful nature: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like"
(Galatians 5:19 - 21 NIV)

Sexual immorality shall be interpreted to mean common-law marital relationships, pre-marital and extra-marital sexual relationships (1 Corinthians 6:15 - 18; 1 Corinthians 7:1 - 2; 1 Thessalonians 4:3 - 8; Hebrews 13:4) and all forms of homosexual and lesbian activity, along with other practices deemed inexcusable for Christian conduct and which place a person under God's judgment (Romans 1:26 - 2:11 NIV)

and

must own a motorcycle and be willing to use it as a witnessing tool. There must be proven interest in the sport of motorcycling, regardless of the type of riding.

Two letters must accompany the application; one stating the reasons for the applicants desire to be part of this ministry; the other a recommendation from said applicants Pastor.
